Happy Monday!

There’s no new specific blog post today. I just wanted to do a little ‘start of the week’ ramble. ❤

This week is going to be a busy one for me – which to be honest I really love. I love always having something to do and get done. I kind of go a little crazy if I’ve got nothing on and nothing to do….

Work has picked up – yay – but it means that my afternoons have filled up so all of my other side ‘worky’ bits have to be packed into the morning. Like this blog! Although I will be completely honest, I’ve struggled so much with this blog. I love it, but I’m a perfectionist (if ya didn’t already know) and to me everything has to perfect before I put it out into the world and that’s just very unrealistic. I’m learning!

I did accomplish something over the weekend that made me very happy. I read Graham Norton’s novel ‘Holding’. I managed to finish it in one afternoon which is one of the most satisfying things ever. It really surprised me because it was soooo good. It’s a good old murder mystery, but his characterisation was nearly flawless and the way the story unfolded was really clever. It’s such a cosy book (apart from the murder obviously!) I also might have bought a few more books… I just can’t help myself… Phil and I went to our local bookshop and it was one of those times when I just kept seeing books I desperately wanted to read! So, I ended picking up three:

Rebecca – Daphne Du Maurier

Emma – Jane Austen

Little Women – Louisa May Alcott

Safe to say my reading for the week has been sorted ❤

I hope your weekend was wonderful and let me know what you’re getting up to this week!
